Stock Guardian Pro empowers store managers to stay ahead of inventory challenges through intelligent monitoring, dynamic thresholds per product and variation, multi-channel notifications (email and Telegram), and comprehensive event logging. Designed for modern WooCommerce stores requiring reliable, scalable inventory management solutions.

Installation & activation

1. Upload the stock-guardian-pro folder to wp-content/plugins/ or install the packaged ZIP via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
2. Activate Stock Guardian Pro from the Plugins screen.
3. Ensure WooCommerce inventory management is enabled for the products you want to monitor.
4. Navigate to WooCommerce > Stock Guardian to access the dashboard and settings.
5. Optionally click Generate demo products to seed five sample items with varying thresholds and stocks.

Core settings

Global options

• Default threshold: fallback stock level if a product does not define its own.
• Notification email: single address or comma-separated list of recipients.
• Email subject template: supports placeholders {site_name}, {product_name}, {product_sku}, {stock}, {threshold}.
• Email intro & footer: custom paragraphs inserted above and below the stock table.

Telegram integration

1. Create a bot with @BotFather and copy the API token.
2. Open a chat with the bot (or add it to a group/channel) and send /start once.
3. Retrieve the chat ID via @userinfobot or https://api.telegram.org/bot<token>/getUpdates.
4. Enable Telegram alerts in settings, paste token and chat ID, then save.
5. Trigger a low stock event to confirm the configuration.

Per-product thresholds

In the WooCommerce product edit screen, under the Inventory tab, use the field "Low stock threshold override" for the product or each variation. Leaving the field blank falls back to the global default.

Suggested demo flow

1. Seed demo products (if not already present).
2. Showcase the Dashboard metrics and the recent notification table.
3. Adjust a product's stock (e.g. set "Demo Premium Coffee" quantity to 2) to trigger an event.
4. Review the generated email/Telegram alert. Point out placeholders replaced with live data.
5. Visit WooCommerce > Status > Logs (source Stock Guardian Pro) to highlight traceability.
6. Demonstrate the REST endpoint via /wp-json/woolsn/v1/threshold/<product_id> for integrations.

For public demos, provide SMTP and Telegram credentials dedicated to the staging environment and reset after each session.

Envato Market integration

1. Download and install the official Envato Market plugin from build.envato.com.
2. In Envato Market settings, add your personal token to connect the buyer account.
3. Once connected, Stock Guardian Pro appears inside the Envato Market dashboard and future releases will be delivered automatically.

Common issues

WooCommerce not detected

The plugin self-deactivates if WooCommerce is missing or below the minimum version. Update WooCommerce before activating Stock Guardian Pro.
